Filmed on October 17th 2000 at the
Crocodile Rock in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Played during the Amen tour. I love
this video. Lighting tonight is absolutely killer. Shot from in front of the
barricade and has a killer view. The audio at this show is highly distorted
because of our main man Bill's bass amplifier. It sounds like the fucking sky
is caving in. Simply awesome. The performance itself is top notch for the
Violence era and displays just how deadly this band is on stage. Very
memorable, very serious. This night marked one week after the album Violence
being released...... and nobody was fucking around. Grinning is earth moving at
this show. Tom plays around with some Sweet Home Alabama & some Reign in
Blood. But when the song drops down into it, Matt screams “Grinning” louder
than shit. Yeah buddy. He sounds like Karl from Earth Crisis. Fucking nuts
people. This show contains the last video documented performance of the
Everyday Atrocity song “The Sick.” Before Villains Matt asks the crowd if
security was acceptable during this show. He says they’ve had problems at the
last three shows with bouncers hurting kids. |
