Recorded on July 14th 2001 at the Intersection in Grand Rapids,
Michigan.
Holy fucking shit!.......This is a full force show off the VOD tour
recorded onto DAT from the audience. This recording is a
full 53 minute set with the "Gummo" intro. Lots of singing
from the crowd especially during For All the Sin. A rare
and awesome audio recording of Filthy played live. Matt is surprised at the
turnout for this show. He dedicates One Thing to all the
"old school motherfuckers" who saw them with Stuck Mojo last
time around. (Those were some damn good shows!)
Tonight's performance of Sleeper is one of the best ever recorded live. Before Bleeder Matt thanks the crowd for making his dream come true, playing in the band. Before the song ends, he has to stop security from throwing a fan out. Ha, Ha, Ha......The end of Villains is re-started due to the crowd sucking on the first take after such a good night! Awesome show! Do not dismiss this recording because of quality!!! This Show has some excessive bass from the position of the microphone, And some scratchy parts too. Playing this on a nice quality stereo will work wonders for this recording. Turn it up! |
